State of the Characters Meme

We had five new characters and one old player return to us in October! Please welcome back Kat, and make sure you update your journal lists here. Also, don't forget that the classes meme exists!

Also, please welcome Ben, Hazel, Leo, Varric, and Yvaine.

In the meantime, feel free to update us on your character's status. For those new to the meme, this is just an out of character update on what your character is up to, what they have coming up in terms of character development, and anything else you feel like adding. It is completely voluntary and just help people keep up to date if they have missed some logs. Unlike the classes meme, this applies to all characters - not just students.

Becky Rosen | Ghostwriter

Significant Other or Crushes: QUENTIN <33333 Also Sam Winchester, but she'll take what she can get.

Favorite class or hobby: English/Lit isn't too horrible, but she'd rather be actually, you know, writing fic.

Plans for the upcoming holidays: She'll be working the Haunted House with Illyana, and will do Thanksgiving and Christmas at home.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): Becky is discovering that her passion for directing people's lives and telling them how they can be better might actually have some RL job market potential (Jay totally didn't know what he was getting into, giving her responsibilities for MTS) so that might be fun to play around with. Around December she's going to have that panic-inducing moment of she only has a year left before she has to apply for colleges - I'm sure there are some other Juniors she could panic with?

Wanda Maximoff | Scarlet Witch

Favorite class or hobby: She's finally decided to take her love of sewing and go to FIT in the Spring.

Plans for the upcoming holidays: Going home with Pietro.

Tony Stark | Iron Man

Favorite class or hobby: Engineering isn't a hobby, it's a lifestyle.

Plans for the upcoming holidays: Whatever Steve decides he wants to do? Tony isn't really a holiday person.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): I should probably do more Iron Man stuff at some point, but for the moment it's mostly dealing with SHIELD being all up in his business. He is not a fan.

Cecil Palmer | Vox

Significant Other or Crushes: Perfect Carlos is still perfect.

Favorite class or hobby: Philosophy! He is unsurprisingly fond of babbling about vaguely thoughtful things. Otherwise he adores reading the news for SHIFT.

Plans for the upcoming holidays: Taking Carlos to Night Vale! It will certainly be an adventure.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): More with getting him into actual radio, eventually. Other than that, nothing terribly specific planned.

Abby Walker | Brand

Significant Other or Crushes: Things are a little weird at the moment. She liked what she had with Clint, but she's not exactly feeling lonely now.

Favorite class or hobby: Anything involving the Danger Room.

Plans for the upcoming holidays: Going home to see her mother, for at least part of the time.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): I really don't know. May try to get her involved with SHIELD at some point, but that's not a perfect fit for her.

Cereza Lucero Andres | Bayonetta

Significant Other or Crushes: She hasn't been around long enough for anything serious, but Damon is rather fascinating.

Favorite class or hobby: Dance. She'd really like to get back into it on a more serious basis, now that she's settling.

Plans for the upcoming holidays: She hasn't been in the country for very long, so she'll probably just stay at school for them this year.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): She wants to find a place in the city to dance, but otherwise I'm open to pretty much anything!

Selphie Tilmitt - Roulette

Favorite class or hobby: Shooting and/or anything that goes boom. She's catching up still on all things academic

Plans for the upcoming holidays: She's helping to plan the Halloween party but has no other plans. She's trying to not think about being alone for the rest of them.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): Not as yet though I'd like to get her into more things. Philip tends to eat my attention so anything more for her is good!

Jean-Paul Beaubier | Northstar

Significant Other or Crushes: Still utterly, soppily in love with Simon Tam.

Favorite class or hobby: Skiing is still Jean-Paul's first love. If he doesn't get out for at least a couple of days on the slopes this winter, he may snap.

Plans for the upcoming holidays: Likely being talked into a holiday up at the cabin with his sister, the Tams, and significant others.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): Jean-Paul is starting college in January. He'll be commuting to Montreal, so it's going to be a bit tense, seeing as Canada is borderline hostile territory for him right now.

Douglas Warlock | Warlock

Age: Kind of looks like a boy in his mid-teens most of the time?

Significant Other or Crushes: Query: why would self wish to crush anyone?

Favorite class or hobby: Warlock is still in his "run and find out" stage. He's very keen on life sciences and biology, though.

Plans for the upcoming holidays: None at the moment. Possibly doing a lot of reading on the subject.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): I really just need to log with the poor, neglected kid some more.

Significant Other or Crushes: if by crush you mean 'slightly terrified by the beauty of' currently Cindy and Natasha are high on that list. He's still thinking about Victoria and worrying.
Favorite class or hobby: Hiking

Plans for the upcoming holidays: thanksgiving he has no plans, other than quietly turn 17. He's also hesitant to return home for all of winter break this winter. He'll probably do Christmas with his grandparents again and then either visit with Jean-Paul or return to NY and stay in his cabin at Shinobi's building for the last few days before school starts.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): Fraser rallies for a hiking club, but understands that people may want to wait for spring. He's still thinking about coming out as a mutant, and want that means at home. Eventually he will out himself more publicly... But methinks next year

Plans for the upcoming holidays: Tim's doing Thanksgiving with the Kents, he may use graduating as an excuse to skip winter with his Dad this year. Still on the fence about winter break plans. New Years will be SOMEWHERE with Conner.

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): Tim graduates soon! Also, things with the Kent family going public/politics. And power training with some of the childrens. He wants to organize a field trip to a museum after winter break and get permission to look at some artifacts up close (so that Daniel can fondle them and practice his psychometry)

Tim can start drafting official requests and bump into Felix while he's working on it maybe? Tim usually goes the route of paperwork but if Felix is interested and mentions he knows someone that's in charge maybe he can help Tim would probably take him up on it just to see what kind of connections Felix is using

Age: officially 16 in a week

Significant Other or Crushes: has finally gotten part of a clue and is dating and/or snogging both Diaval and Vance. SHE STILL DOESN'T UNDERSTAND DATING. But she adores them both. (Also, she thinks Natasha is very attractive. Thanks for bringing her home, Clint!)

Favorite class or hobby: Art!!! best class!

Plans for the upcoming holidays: home with Steve, Tony, and any people they've collected. She's going to ask Vance home for Thanksgiving, because he needs family and likes patriotic things like Steve so okay. Who knows what else

Anything you'd like to do with them (or plots coming up): piles of cuddling. Sharon is my plot Teflon. She is here to snuggle people and make abstract cat art right now
