In anticipation of the Omnia game that will take place in the future, I'm offering a meme that asks:

Where do you see your characters (both active and dropped) in ten years?

Keep in mind that this does not lock you into a given future. If your character starts to move along a different path, that's totally okay. This is mostly just for fun, for ideas, and to get an idea of the world-building of the spin-off game.

Also keep in mind that this does not take into account any catastrophe that happens in the next game. That will be discussed among the players of the spin-off game at a later date. For now, we are imagining a perfect, OM Future State.

Once again, Xavier's will be throwing the annual Halloween party in the gym on Saturday, October 31st. There will also be a haunted house on the grounds, and everyone is encouraged to wear costumes.

Kitty's turned the masquerade party planning over to Illyana this year. It'll be held on July 18th, and the theme is "Into The Woods". Everyone is encouraged to dress in fairy tale-inspired costumes - traditional, sexy, twisted, your choice!

The makeshift dance floor will be setup in a clearing in the woods, which will be decorated with white Christmas lights and hanging LED candles. Refreshment tables are setup nearby. You can figure Illyana's soliciting help from anyone she thinks she might be able to talk into it, and asking around for a volunteer to DJ.

Use this post to show off what your character will be wearing, make plans, and give an idea of what your character will be doing at the party!

Hello, everyone!

So, as some of you may or may not know, Nick has a court date. In fact, it's today, on the 30th of April. At about 7AM on April 30th, Nick will be going to a courthouse in NYC. He'll be held, if the court hearing goes for longer than a day, at a local juvenile detention facility.

The case itself won't be tremendously publicized since he's a minor and being tried as such, but I'm certain the kids will know, since Nick's not exactly been closed-mouth about this stuff and all that.

His lawyer thinks that he can make this a pretty open-and-shut self-defense case for Nick, but Nick isn't so certain. We'll just see how things go!

Also note: I'm editing this post frequently and using this as more of a note for future reference for myself, as I learn more about the legal process. Huzzah for frequent edits.

So, two questions (from Toby and Paul, respectively)

1) What does your blood "smell" like?

Toby gets a psionic impression of the "scent" of someone's blood when they cut themselves. These rarely if ever actually smell like blood; for example, Ianto's blood "smells like" old paper and ink, which she equates to the smell of a used bookstore. Her own blood smells like cut grass. So, in case your character is ever bleeding, what will she smell?

2) What does your astral image look like?

Paul sees people's astral images when he looks at them (examples: the leaves on Felix's arms obscure him, Ianto looks like an owl, Toby is wearing armor). What does he see when he looks at your character?

As a result of a powers mishap, a random number of students are going to temporarily be transformed into adorable baby animals. Because why not.

If you'd like your characters to be one of them, here's your place to show them off; pick an animal, post pictures, set up scenes, whatever you like. Participation is strictly voluntary, so go with whatever amuses you the most.
